The story starts with Lou consulting his friend, Kavin, if he can take care of one of his Dogs, Spike.
Kavin details that he can take care of spike with intrusive thoughts in mind. Muffin is brought in to showcase what happended in a previous episode to create some comedic releif.

The Arival
After his trip Lou makes his way to pick up spike from Kavin's house. something is off with Kavin as the two speek but lou goes on his way.
The Conversation
Time passes and Lou is delving in extensive research just before he is interupted by a phone call from Kavin. Kavin subtly informs Lou on a "trick" that he has tought spike sending Lou into a spiral of memories.

Lou scans his memories of his dates with May and recalls something suspicious that spike has done.
Muffin's Trick
Lou refferes to another memory that he recalls when muffin had aquired "The Trick" from spike with a hard twist.
Golden hour
After a breif update from Kavin, Lou sets off into the sunset with a mystery person as muffin leaves a comical exit into the credits
